Recording reliability and fairer billing

  • Recovery for interrupted calls. A call that finishes without reporting back settles on its own, and a recovery pass picks up anything left behind.
  • Clear status on every recording. One that fails shows the reason with a Retry button, and tells you by notification and email.
  • Long calls stay recorded, end to end.
  • Incomplete recordings are flagged, so a partial capture is never mistaken for a full one.
Billing
  • Cancelling keeps the time you have already paid for. Your plan now runs to the end of the paid term and downgrades after it, instead of ending straight away.

Your data is never used to train AI

Privacy
  • Explicit no-training commitment. The privacy policy now states plainly that your data, including anything read from Google APIs such as Google Calendar, is never used to train, improve, or develop any AI model, and is never handed to a third party to do so. Milago's AI runs under commercial terms that prohibit training on customer input.

Meaningful titles for bot meetings

  • Bot meetings get a real title. Calendar invites are often named after their participants, an email address or "email / Name", rather than the topic, so a recording could stay titled after an attendee even once the notes made the subject obvious. Participant-derived titles are now treated as placeholders and upgraded to the AI-generated topic. Descriptive titles you set yourself are never changed.

Recordings that always arrive, and live meeting status

  • Fixed: a calendar bot could record a meeting that never appeared in Milago. Those recordings were always safe, but could fail to turn into a meeting. They now arrive on their own within a couple of minutes of the call ending, even if you had no browser tab open during the call.
  • Upcoming meetings show the bot's live progress. A meeting the bot is handling moves in near-real-time: Bot will join, Joining, In call, Recording, Notes captured, instead of sitting on one status until the next calendar sync. Once captured, the row links straight to your notes.

One notetaker per meeting

Meetings
  • Fixed: multiple "Milago Notetaker" bots joining the same meeting. If the same calendar was connected under more than one Milago account you now get exactly one bot. Two different people in the same meeting still each get their own, by design.
  • Deleting and recreating a calendar event no longer leaves the old bot joining alongside the new one.
  • Rescheduled meetings move their bot to the new time instead of joining at the old one.

The notetaker joins on time, with Milago closed

Meetings
  • Bots for calendar meetings are now scheduled in the background. Previously a bot was only booked while you had a Milago tab open and syncing, so a meeting you were not watching could get its bot late or not at all. This now runs on our servers for everyone with a connected calendar, and is skipped if you have turned auto-join off.
  • The bot arrives slightly earlier, so it is waiting as the meeting starts. Note that a recording bot is a real participant and still has to be admitted from the waiting room by the host.

Readable insights, clearer diagrams, edit before you approve

Meetings
  • Flow diagrams read like real flowcharts. A linear process now lays out left to right and wraps into rows instead of one tall column, so a seven-step flow drops from about seven rows to two. Branching flows render as layers with loop-backs shown separately.
  • Meeting insights are scannable. Discussion points are numbered cards with the outcome in its own callout and a "show full discussion" toggle. On client meetings, objections show open or resolved status and the response, commitments show who owes what to whom, and requirements show priority and status.
Action Board
  • Edit any AI suggestion before approving it. Follow-ups, tasks, commitments and design-feedback items can be corrected inline before you approve them, and your edits survive re-running extraction.
  • Client Follow-ups now open by meeting, like All Meetings, with per-status counts and All, To Do, In Progress and Done tabs.
  • Fixed: "Add to board" on Client Follow-ups did nothing. It reported success but the item never reached the board.

Diagrams from real discussions

  • Flow diagrams now come out of ordinary conversations, not just narrated walkthroughs. A discovery call that describes a process through question and answer now produces a diagram. Choosing "Re-run Extraction" always attempts one.
  • Desktop audio-only recordings are badged Recorded rather than "Uploaded".

Re-extraction, playback and accurate durations

Meetings
  • "Re-run Extraction" no longer discards work. It used to delete an existing process-flow diagram and your copilot highlights on every click. It now merges instead, backfills diagrams onto meetings processed earlier, and shows progress while it runs.
  • The player starts instantly instead of scanning the whole file on load.
  • Every meeting now records an accurate duration, which also corrects the usage meters that were undercounting.

No more echo in recordings

  • Saved screen recordings no longer contain speaker echo. If you listen on speakers rather than headphones, the far end was being captured twice. Recordings now use the same echo-cancelled microphone signal that transcription uses.
  • Recording length is reported to the server, for accurate durations and usage.

How often does Milago ship updates?

Continuously — busy weeks see several production releases. This page covers the updates that change what you see and use, so releases that were purely internal do not appear here.

What do the version numbers mean?

Milago follows semantic versioning. Entries labeled vX.Y.Z are releases of the web platform — the app at milago.ai, which also powers the pages inside the desktop and mobile apps. Entries labeled desktop-vX.Y.Z are releases of the Milago Desktop app for Windows.

Do I need to update anything to get new web features?

No. Improvements to the Milago web app go live for everyone as soon as they are deployed — just refresh the page. The desktop app embeds the live web pages for most screens, so those update instantly too.

How do I update the Milago desktop app?

The Windows desktop app checks for updates automatically and downloads new signed builds in the background; when one is ready, a "Restart to update" prompt applies it in one click. You can also grab the latest installer from the download page at any time.

Are new features available on every plan?

Yes — improvements apply to all plans automatically, and the live meeting copilot, process flow and MCP integration are included on every plan, including Free. Plans differ in recording hours, seats, storage and collaboration; the pricing page lists what each includes.
