Frequently asked questions

How often does Milago ship updates?

Continuously — every entry on this page corresponds to a production deploy of milago.ai, and busy weeks see several releases. Each version lists exactly what changed.

What do the version numbers mean?

Milago follows semantic versioning. Entries labeled vX.Y.Z are releases of the web platform — the app at milago.ai, which also powers the pages inside the desktop and mobile apps. Entries labeled desktop-vX.Y.Z are releases of the Milago Desktop app for Windows.

Do I need to update anything to get new web features?

No. Improvements to the Milago web app go live for everyone as soon as they are deployed — just refresh the page. The desktop app embeds the live web pages for most screens, so those update instantly too.

How do I update the Milago desktop app?

The Windows desktop app checks for updates automatically and downloads new signed builds in the background; when one is ready, a "Restart to update" prompt applies it in one click. You can also grab the latest installer from the download page at any time.

Are new features available on every plan?

Most improvements — reliability fixes, transcription quality, playback, and UI updates — apply to all plans automatically. A few advanced capabilities, such as the live meeting copilot, are plan-gated; the pricing page lists what each plan includes.

Building on top of Milago? The hosted MCP server and API-key setup are covered in the MCP docs.
